Aino

Aino, a unique typeface by Estonian Design Team and Anton Koovit, is the official typeface for Brand Estonia. It is the most widespread and recognisable element of the brand, communicating ideas through all mediums – in print and on screen.
Aino typeface is available for Latin and Russian alphabet.


Aino was created in 2016 in collaboration with Jan Tomson, Alari Orav, Selina Bernet, Nikita Kanarev and Marion Kadi.
In 2022 font family was extended with italics.
2024 new Headline was commisoned by EIS.
